Akkurat delivers custom-designed Solar Powered Intermitter Skids to several clients. Implemented on older gas wells, these skids enable real-time gas flow and pressure data to enable remote well management.

Akkurat is a specialised Instrumentation supplier. Equipped with the latest state-of-the-art Beamex Calibration equipment, we've developed procedures and training for specific site applications.

Recently, Akkurat was engaged by a large coal seam gas company to perform instrumentation calibrations. The instrument calibrations were completed to the OEM standard accuracy using our state-of-the-art NATA certified Beamex MC6 calibrator. Using various pressure modules and the Beamex software, the calibrations were completed within the allocated time limit, and the client was able to start their plant up without any delays.

Akkurat offers comprehensive training for field operators engaged in pilot projects and coal mine de-gassing initiatives. Our training programs align with the Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII) standards and are tailored to the specific site and equipment in use. Conducted by qualified trainers and assessors with over 20 years of experience, our training extends beyond Australia, with recent sessions successfully completed in Mongolia.

The training encompasses a significant onsite practical component, ensuring that participants gain hands-on experience. At Akkurat, we prioritise equipping your team with the necessary skills and knowledge to confidently handle any situation they may encounter in the field.

Akkurat were engaged to construct flare skids for a prominent mining company. Our task involved creating mobile skids that facilitated continuous ignition, while ensuring safety and cost-effectiveness. We successfully engineered and manufactured multiple flare skids in various sizes for our coal mining client. Each skid is equipped with a standalone power supply, allowing for complete autonomy in operation. The hallmark of Akkurat products lies in their high level of engineering, operability, and cost-effectiveness. Our equipment comes complete with operation manuals, MDR, and fully compliant Hazardous Area Dossiers to ensure comprehensive and compliant documentation.

A prominent Coal Seam Gas company approached Akkurat to redesign their existing flow skid. In collaboration with the client, we developed a concept design and created the revised P&ID. Following a HAZOP session, we initiated the detailed design phase. Upon approval of the detailed design, we procured the long lead items and commenced the fabrication of the skids and pipework.

Conforming to ASME B31.3 NFS standards, the pressure piping underwent hydro pressure testing to 17,000 kPa. After assembling the skids, we conducted a joint Factory Acceptance Test with the client before shipping the skids to the site. Following the successful delivery of the first four skids, our engagement with the client expanded, leading us to construct several more skids. This project stands as a testament to the effective collaboration between Akkurat and the client, with the achieved results speaking for themselves.

From idea to implementation, this turnkey solution by Akkurat involved designing, manufacturing, supplying, installing and maintaining automated Well Control Skids, a SCADA system, for a valued international exploration client.
